WORKSHOPS
Learning Collaboration and Conflict in the New Moon Race
From Simulation to Insight
Our workshops simulate the real challenges of the new Moon Race. When participants step into the workshop, they are not just “playing a game” — they are experiencing the same tensions that space agencies, companies, and various actors struggle with: the dynamics of fragile alliances, resource constraints, and rival maneuvers that mirror real strategic challenges in space exploration.

Our workshops help participants develop:
Systems thinking: seeing the bigger picture of interconnection.
Negotiation & collaboration: practicing diplomacy in complex scenarios.
Futures thinking: imagining multiple possible futures and preparing for them.
Teamwork & communication: solving challenges together under pressure.
Workshop Formats
Our workshops use a special team version of Age of the Moon. Four teams, each representing a lunar actor, build bases, manage resources, and negotiate with one another. This format engages larger groups, fostering collaboration, dynamic negotiations, and reflection on real-world cooperation and conflict.
For Professionals: Explore foresight, cooperation, and strategy in high-stakes environments.
For Students: Learn through play while discovering future thinking and teamwork.
For the General Public: Experience the thrill of the new space race and reflect on humanity’s role beyond Earth.
Duration: 2–3 hours | Group Size: 4–24 participants
